The Superchips hand-held MAX Micro Tuner now available for Dodge Ram 5.2 liter and 5.9 liter V8 models, allows you to go far beyond a fixed reprogramming chip. Providing performance improvements in 200 rpm increments, the Max Micro Tuner increases power across the rpm band not just wide-open throttle. Got bolt-ons, such as a cold-air intake and aftermarket exhaust? The MAX Micro Tuner enhances their performance by optimizing ignition timing and fuel/air ratios. Reading your vehicles VIN# code through the ALDL (diagnostic) port inside the cab, the MAX Micro Tuner applies a new, custom program to the vehicles computer resulting in an amazing 19 horsepower and 40 lbs.-ft. of torque. Add to this the ability to raise speed and rev limiters and you've got dramatically improved performance for passing, towing, hill climbing, carrying a heavy load or just getting up that freeway onramp. In
addition, the MAX Micro Tuner has a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)
feature that allows you to retrieve trouble codes stored in the
vehicles computer. A complete list of these codes is included with the
instructions for the unit so you can pinpoint the problem. Once you've
determined the source of the trouble code and corrected it, the MAX
Micro Tuner can then clear that trouble code for you. You can also
recalibrate the speedometer to adjust for taller wheels/tires down the
line. Installation is a snap too because the MAX Micro Tuner simply
plugs into the ALDL connection inside the cab. Just plug it in and
within minutes you will be on your way too much improved performance. |
